It is almost done! The next EP from The Worsties is nearly complete. All the tracks have been mixed, and the mastering process has been completed. Now, comes the fun stuff. Photos, artwork, packaging, promoting, and so forth.
The band is very excited about this release, which is being titled, "Dude. Dude. Dude. Totally!" And as a reminder, the official EP release show is Saturday, August 8, 2009 at 12th & Porter. Official sale dates will be coming soon. Check back for details.
You read correctly! The word has been made official and The Worsties will be opening up for the popular 90's Seattle rock band Candlebox.
Candlebox are best known for the singles "Change," "You," "Far Behind," and "Simple Lessons."
The show takes place Thursday, June 25th at 527 Main Street in Murfreesboro, TN.

On May 21st, The Worsties will be opening up for Marcy Playground at The Warehouse in Clarksville, TN. The band is best known for their successful 1997 single "Sex and Candy". The song spent 15 weeks at #1 on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart.

The Worsties will be participating in this year's 2009 Naked Without Us Fashion Rock Show.
The event originally started a few year's ago, here in Nashville, to promote up-and-coming fashion designers and local rock bands. Since then, the show has grown in popularity. This year, the event has been extended over 5 days as compared to last year, which was a one day event.
The Worsties will be performing Friday, May 15th at 12th & Porter. Designers being featured that evening are amy b, Lladybird, Say Ooh, La La Lovely, Marti Mcfli, and Beverly Hills Royalty.
The Worsties have been nominated for 4 Buzz Awards as part of the 102.9 The Buzz Local Rock Awards on April 10th.
The 4 categories include Best New Artist, Song of the Year, Best Alternative/Pop-Rock, and Best Female Vocalist.
The Worsties will also be performing at the award show, which is being held at The Rutledge.

This week, the Worsties are being feautred on the Speakerheart home page. The release of the long awaited EP has arrived and Speakerheart are the first to make available an exclusive pre-release through their web site.
