05.25.09 - The Worsties finishing up their new EP.
It is almost done! The next EP from The Worsties is nearly complete. All the tracks have been mixed, and the mastering process has been completed. Now, comes the fun stuff. Photos, artwork, packaging, promoting, and so forth.
The band is very excited about this release, which is being titled, "Dude. Dude. Dude. Totally!" And as a reminder, the official EP release show is Saturday, August 8, 2009 at 12th & Porter. Official sale dates will be coming soon. Check back for details.
05.15.09 - The Worsties are opening up for Candlebox!
You read correctly! The word has been made official and The Worsties will be opening up for the popular 90's Seattle rock band Candlebox.
Candlebox are best known for the singles "Change," "You," "Far Behind," and "Simple Lessons."
The show takes place Thursday, June 25th at 527 Main Street in Murfreesboro, TN.

04.30.09 - The Worsties finishing up the new EP! EP Release Party announced!
Five new songs will be featured in the next EP, which is titled "Dude! Dude! Dude! Totally!" We are very excited about the mixes and the songs have gone into the mastering process. Artwork for the new EP will start sometime in May, and the date for the EP release show has just been announcement!
The Worsties EP Release Party will be on Saturday August 8th, 2009 at 12th & Porter. Mark your calendars and get ready to party!!
04.24.09 - The Worsties are opening up for Marcy Playground!
On May 21st, The Worsties will be opening up for Marcy Playground at The Warehouse in Clarksville, TN. The band is best known for their successful 1997 single "Sex and Candy". The song spent 15 weeks at #1 on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart.
The Worsties are excited for the opportunity to open up for this great band. Come check out the show! More details in the shows section.

04.15.09 - The Worsties performing at the Naked Without Us Fashion Rock Show!
The Worsties will be participating in this year's 2009 Naked Without Us Fashion Rock Show.
The event originally started a few year's ago, here in Nashville, to promote up-and-coming fashion designers and local rock bands. Since then, the show has grown in popularity. This year, the event has been extended over 5 days as compared to last year, which was a one day event.
The Worsties will be performing Friday, May 15th at 12th & Porter. Designers being featured that evening are amy b, Lladybird, Say Ooh, La La Lovely, Marti Mcfli, and Beverly Hills Royalty.

The Worsties have been nominated for 4 Buzz Awards as part of the 102.9 The Buzz Local Rock Awards on April 10th.

The Worsties will also be performing at the award show, which is being held at The Rutledge.

02.18.08 - The Worsties EP Release Party set for February 23rd
The Worsties new EP, "Put Your Babe On", arrives this week, and The Worsties are planning to celebrate by partying at The 5 Spot on Saturday, Febraury 23rd.
The EP will be available for purchase online, but you can get your copy by coming out to the show on the 23rd. $8 gets you in to the show and a copy of the EP.
