The Worsties : Nashville's Foxiest Band

You read correctly! The Worsties will be performing at this year’s Rhodes College Rites of Spring in Memphis, TN. The event will feature BIG BOI from Outkast and Saving Abel!

We are stoked to be a part of this show! This is a great opportunity for the band, and we can’t wait to rock all the Rhodes College kids! The show is on April 10th, 2010. If you’re in the Memphis area you should come out and rock with a great night of music!

Have you been wondering where The Worsties have been? Well, we had a great start to the new year with a few great shows and some MTV placements. Right now the band is writing some new material and getting revved up for a busy month in March.

Doing a few out of town gigs with our friends Today The Moon, Tomorrow The Sun and Brenn! Swinging by Biloxi, MS to rock the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino once again, and swinging by Austin, TX for SXSW and Red Gorilla Music Festival, then returning to Lexington, KY to rock out at Buster’s!

And for our local fans, we will be performing March 12th with local hard rockers Caprice!

And we will be hitting the studio once again to track some of our newer material! See you all soon!

That’s right, folks! Our song “Kitty Litter” will be featured on tonight’s episode of Real World Washington D.C. The show goes on at 10pm ET / 9pm CT. We are truly pumped about this! Earlier features on Styl’d were instrumental! This time we are talking more of the song, song title, and band name featured at the bottom of the screen.

And if that wasn’t cool enough we are offering a free download of “Kitty Litter” for all those who sign up to our mailing list!

Lots of good things are in the works for this year! We are shooting a new video, we had an awesome show in Lexington, KY at Buster’s and brought in the new year with a bang, and rocked the Hard Rock Cafe Nashville last night for their grand reopening! Overall, a great start to the new year!

The Worsties will be shooting some music videos in the weeks to come. It is very exciting stuff for the band! Keep checking back for updates. We’ll even hint at what songs we will be shooting videos for.

Last night was the first of a few song placements for the band. On last night’s episode of “Styl’d” instrumental parts of our song “Spider” were featured. However, if you are not familiar with the song you might have missed it. No worries. For those who did here is the episode. The song comes in at 4:12 of the episode when they start talking about Josh Henderson.

Tune into MTV’s “Styl’d” tonight at 11pm/10pm Central to hear our song “Spider” featured in this week’s episode. We are all very excited!

We will also be featured on another episode of “Styl’d” on December 22. The song featured in this episode will be “Sweatshop.” Both songs are available on our EP “Put Your Babe On” available on iTunes and Amazon.
