The Worsties make the top 10 list for THE MOST REQUESTED LOCAL BUZZ BANDS OF 2008! This has been a very exciting year for The Worsties and we look forward to a better year in 2009. The Worsties are currently working on their next EP, which is titled "Dude, Dude, Dude, Totally!", to be released in early 2009.

The Worsties have started to record their next EP! We will be recording 5-6 new songs. No word on when we plan on releasing this new EP, but we are looking at early 2009. More infor to come.

Next BIG Nashville debuted in 2006 with only 33 performances at 2 venues. NBN 2007 expanded to include 15 venues, 150 performances and roughly 10,000 attendees. NBN 2008 is shaping up to shatter the stats from 2007 with over 20 venues, 250 performances, daytime panels/lectures, afterparties, block parties and so much more.

You read correctly! The Worsties will have a song featured on Nashville's 102.9 The Buzz. A song from our new EP, Put Your Babe On, will be played during the radio station's Sunday night show "The Local Buzz". The show airs from 9pm-12am and is hosted by Aljon.

This week, the Worsties are being feautred on the Speakerheart home page. The release of the long awaited EP has arrived and Speakerheart are the first to make available an exclusive pre-release through their web site.

02.18.08 - The Worsties EP Release Party set for February 23rd
The Worsties new EP, "Put Your Babe On", arrives this week, and The Worsties are planning to celebrate by partying at The 5 Spot on Saturday, Febraury 23rd.
The EP will be available for purchase online, but you can get your copy by coming out to the show on the 23rd. $8 gets you in to the show and a copy of the EP.
