The Worsties are a foxy mix of electric energy and rock and roll. They're full of "mean riffs, surfy guitar licks, FM-ready melodies and layers of ball-busting female vocals." Throw in a bit of "sinister post-punk" and some "garage-rock" and you've got America's "Most Delicious Band."
The Worsties are a Nashville based rock and roll band who formed in the Spring of 2005. Jesse and Anna began writing songs earlier that year and started jamming with Jairo Ruiz who jumped in on bass a few months later. Pulling influences from Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Metric, The Sounds, Giant Drag, The Pixies and a touch of Siouxsie and the Banshees they dub themselves as "sexy party rock."
In a business obsessed with image, The Worsties maintain a strong presence with unmatched style (both fashionably and musically) and an always unpredictable live performance. If you want to satisfy your taste buds with some hot, party-drenched rock and roll then The Worsties definitely fit the bill.
